Web Tech Lead (Full Stack/ Frontend Orientated) | React, Node, GraphQL |Zurich | Permanent

The Role

The company is an centralised online online global market leader based in central Zurich (15 minutes' walk from the train station). This role is a hands on role (70%) with some coaching and mentoring (30%), this an excellent opportunity for a Senior who has previous experience of helping other in the team and leading projects. This company has now migrated to new technologies and will be starting several greenfield projects with the majority of the brown projects being no older than 12 months.

Tech:

Front end: React, Gatsby, NextJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

Backend: NodeJS, AWS

Testing: CI/CD Pipelines - integrated & unit testing and security concerns

Person:

Ability to mentor/coach others through none micromanagement methods

Able to work in a fast paced environment

Experience to lead large scale applications

Ability to lead and contribute to technical discussions

Nice to have's:

AWS Lambdas, Amplify, Codebuild

Optimisation of webpages

Experience in designing and structuring CMS and headless CMS

The role offers a degree of flexibility/remote working (1-2 days remote per week) but they ideally like you to be in the office in order to contribute to a fun work place and maintain a high retention. This is a high priority role so the timeframe of the process is 1 week to 4 weeks.
