My client, a rapidly growing Specialty Insurer, is seeking a Technical Accountant to join their team in the City of London.

Job Title: Technical Accountant

Salary: £40,000 basic + bonus + benefits

Location: City of London

Industry: Insurance

Key responsibilities:

• To ensure the credit control process operates efficiently and effectively
• To work closely with underwriters, brokers and relevant third parties, building effective relationships
• To ensure the Xchanging error handling process is maintained and developed effectively
• To manage the policy life cycle
• To ensure all aspects of premium are calculated correctly
• To identify and accurately book the allocation of premiums and insurance transactions

Key experience:

• Knowledge of the London market
• Strong Excel skills
• Good commercial acumen
• Ability to work autonomously
