A market leading, London based, support service for over 10 Lloyd's syndicates, is seeking a Syndicate Accountant. This role will see you responsible for delivering aspects of management & regulatory reporting for multiple syndicates. This will involve quarterly and annual submissions, as well as contributing to the development of systems for syndicate reporting.
Duties of the role include:
- Preparing Lloyd's regulatory returns including some US and Canadian reporting
- Development and improvement of reporting systems, and data migration
- Preparing syndicate management accounts
- Ad hoc finance projects
For this role you should:
- Have an accountancy qualification or be working towards one, such as ACCA or ACA
- Have previous experience of working within a Lloyds syndicate or a Big 6 audit firm
- Experience of QMA / QMB preparation and other Lloyd's reporting requirements
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment adhering to strict deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication
