Senior SQL DBA Contractor Needed - 6 Months - Dublin City Centre

A Financial Services client of mine in the City Centre is looking for an experienced Senior SQL DBA to join there expanding team. You'll be responsible for the management and administration of the 24/7/365 production environment that my client depends on to enable thousands of transactions online.

This role is an urgent fill and interviews will be held remotely and will be remote for the foreseeable too.

Skills Required:

• 5+ years SQL Server DBA experience
• Strong T-SQL scripting skills and ability to carry out SQL code reviews
• Microsoft Azure Database environments within 24/7/365 business-critical systems

Nice to have

• working with Azure SQL Databases and Managed Instances
• working with SSIS and Azure Data Factory
• Understanding of PowerShell to automate complex tasks
