Job Description

Our financial services client is looking for a Service Desk Migration Manager to join them as they are migrating from Windows 7 to Windows 10. This is a contract role for initially 6 months and offers a competitive day rate (£500-£700 DoE).

  • Project and Task planning of the activities that is required for the new supplier & business units to transition to the new service in parallel with the windows 7 to windows 10 migration (managed separately).
  • Act as single point of contact for Migration issues between the 2020 team, the new supplier and the wider L&G Business Units.
  • Engagement and communications with the business units to schedule and priorities migration activities against the existing workloads and support them in the upgrade process.
  • Agree & manage the graduated release of new functionality from the new service provider to the L&G Business Units.
  • Migration Issue and risk management.
  • Migration reporting and tracking.
  • Migration dependency planning
