The Role
German-Speaking Senior Application Manager | We are currently recruiting for a German-Speaking Senior Application Manager for an established retail business who are based in Bern. This role will be split between home working (2-3 days) and office working (remaining days) and will see the successful applicant lead a growing SAP CC function who mainly look after SAP SD, MM and FI/CO modules. Expectations for this role are that someone has strong functional expertise in SAP SD & MM, ideally along with sound experience of Solutions Architecture.
As well as leading a small, growing function, this role will also have the responsibility for overseeing the implementation and delivery of new CRM and E-Commerce platforms, as well as preparing the organisation for an S/4 HANA transformation in late 2021 / early 2022.
SAP Application Manager Requirements
- Strong functional expertise in SAP SD, MM and CS, with previous experience in customisation for these modules
- Ideally some experience in FI/CO (Though this is not essential)
- Experience / Knowledge of ABAP would also be advantageous though is not essential
- Previous experience of leading a small team or alternatively a willingness to transition into a leadership role
- Sound knowledge of solutions architecture would be ideal
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Fluency in German is essential
- Ideally experience in the Retail Sector
