I have been instructed to source a Senior Reporting Manager for a FTSE Listed General Insurance business.

I have been instructed to source a Senior Reporting Manager for a FTSE Listed General Insurance business.

Sat within the Group Financial Planning and Analysis (GFP&A) team and reporting directly into the Head of Group Financial Planning & Analysis, this position will have regular exposure to the CFO and other senior stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate delivery of the Group#s monthly results
  • Production of Board and ExCo reporting packs, providing insight to monthly performance
  • Management of CFO and senior stakeholders on key drivers of variances against expectation
  • Initiating or assisting with changes and improvements to reporting
  • Supporting Investor Relations and External Reporting with the preparation and review of annual report and accounts and other externally published documents
  • Delivery of financial performance analysis
  • Management, coaching and development of up to 2 junior team members

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with a minimum of 3-4 years PQE
  • Insurance experience essential
  • Strong communication skills and ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders in multiple teams
  • Previous experience producing Board and ExCo reporting packs
  • Good understanding of insurance KPIs the basis of their analysis
  • Previous working knowledge of Solvency II advantageous
