Title: Senior Python Engineer
Location: Zurich

We are looking for a skilled Senior Python Engineer with the ability to work in a full stack capacity to join the IT Department of our client, a global player in the financial services industry. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining a high priority application in the business, the ideal candidate therefore has long-term experience in the requirements below and proven expertise in developing and managing complex applications.
This is a senior position, you will be responsible for the whole SDLC of the application from backend to frontend, work intensively with stakeholders across actuarial and quant teams, contribute to the build and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and be a member of committees across the technical side of the business.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years building complex and scalable web applications and very strong knowledge in Python Development
- Proven experience working with Docker and Linux
- Good knowledge of cloud technology such as Azure or AWS
- Experience in frontend development with with any modern technology (react, angular etc..)
- Fluency in English
