A large global corporation is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to support their Legal team.

In this role, you will be both the senior legal advisor as well as the data privacy officer to the group, working closely with a lean senior legal team. This role will involve a full range of legal and compliance matters comprising ongoing regulatory compliance, data privacy, commercial and contractual matters. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to advising the business on data privacy and data protection compliance issues while providing counsel on strategies that best meet the Company's needs.

The ideal candidate will be:

• A qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 PQE
• Experienced in working at global MNCs / international law firms
• Knowledgeable in data privacy and protection laws in Hong Kong and mainland China
• Skilled in managing external stakeholders
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
