Role: Senior Java Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 12-months + likely extension
Start Date: ASAP or by appointment
Location: Zurich

We are currently looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong knowledge in Java development for an exciting opportunity in the banking industry in Zurich. This role will initially be for 12 months as a contractor with a strong likelihood of extension past that point.

You will work with a diverse team of developers in the trading area of the bank contributing to developing new products from scratch and maintaining current ones with Java 11 and even later.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge in Java
• Strong knowledge of Spring/Spring boot
• Fluent English language skills
• Strong team player and a self starter
• An interest in working in the financial services (previous experience desired but not required)
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch or MongoDB desirable nut not essential
