I am currently working with an Insurance client in London who are looking to expand their UK Finance function by hiring a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant. You will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting including management, regulatory and statutory reporting.
Role requirements;
- Preparation and reviewing of monthly and year-end statutory accounts (IFRS for insurance) as well as statistical returns.
- Providing annual Solvency ll reports to PRA.
- Preparing monthly and quarterly consolidation entries into the accounting system general ledger.
Profile requirements;
- Insurance experience ideal but would consider banking or asset management.
- 3+ years PQE with recent experience in UK GAAP Financial Reporting in a medium-to-large business.
- IFRS9 and 17 would be advantageous.
