(Senior) Accounting Professional

I am looking for an enthusiastic Accounting Professional who wants to work in a diverse team dedicated to process improvement and efficient execution. In this role, you will play a key part in harmonizing our Finance department and finding optimal solutions for various challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Perform financial accounting, reconciliations, and related analysis
- Participate in period closings, providing explanations for balance and P&L changes to management
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly IFRS reports to the Bank, ensuring adherence to IFRS standards
- Collaborate with the Procure to Pay department to enhance processes and period closings
- Support internal and external audits and maintain the internal control environment
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement projects within the Finance department
Your profile:
- Master's degree in Accounting & Control, Economics, or Business Administration (or equivalent)
- 4-5 years of experience in finance/accounting roles
- Proficiency in relevant general ledger systems (preferably SAP)
- Ability to identify and communicate significant events impacting P&L
- Familiarity with internal control guidelines and IFRS standards is advantageous
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch/French/German is a plus
- Strong analytic skills, helicopter view, and effective communication abilities
