An opportunity with a global insurance company who are increasing their headcount in Ireland has recently come up.

This is an opportunity for a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA etc.) to join a global insurance firm with a footprint across many of the world's financial hubs.

My client has been growing their Dublin office steadily over the past 10 years or so. They are now able to expand their current finance team and in time will a create sub team which will be led by the successful person for this role.

You will be joining the team in a leadership role and it is expected that this position will grow into a Finance Manager position within 12 months.

The finance team is responsible for all regulatory and statutory reporting, financial statement preparation and Solvency II returns. There is a constant work stream of new projects which will offer you the opportunity to further develop your skill set.

Requirements;

• Qualified Accountant with a minimum 5 years PQE
• Preference will be given to those with experience in a Life Insurance firm
• Proven ability as a technically strong accountant with experience in Solvency II returns
