The primary focus is working across Group Accounting and Integration teams, supporting monthly and year end close process, aligning core accounting processes into the group, and supporting integration of new M&A
The role:
The role will involve supporting group month end close process with focus on:
- Accounts payable extract into the general ledger
- General ledger journal production and posting of Central costs
- Balance sheet reconciliations
It will also involve administering weekly bank reconciliations for trusts and office accounts, monthly client money calculations and draw downs in line with the FCA client money rules &* supporting group recharging structuring.
The correct and ideal candidate needs:
- Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Knowledge of building and improving accounts
- Strong systems and reporting experience
- Experience of insurance broker accounting, reconciliation and client money processes
