The Company

The role lends itself to a global financial services organisation operating in the private equity, hybrid funds, hedge & mutual funds and real estate sphere. The company provides a full range of products from regulatory solutions to middle office services with a focus on high client service levels.

Responsibilities

  • Assist production of the annual audited financial statements for the Group
  • Ensuring accounts completed in accordance with IFRS Financial Reporting standards
  • Compilation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
  • Maintain a control operating environment
  • Ownership of Prophix and Financial Force systems
  • Oversight of Accounts Receivable and Accrued Income
  • Oversight of group tax policy transfer recharges
  • Ensure internal control processes are followed while working within our finance team to improve processes if necessary
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the accounting records and financial systems
  • Liaison with internal and external audit and tax teams
  • Assist with constant cost reduction processes in the organization

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Financial accountant to broaden their experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • A professional designation such as CA.; C.P.A.; C.F.A.; CMA.;ACA.;ACCA.; or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years PQE, preferably in the finance industry
  • Understanding of Business Analysis or Project Management and process improvement
  • Strong foundation in MS Excel/PowerPoint
  • Experience in financial reporting and corporate finance preferred
  • Strong self-starter, able to work independently and as part of an integrated team
  • Clear organization skills and ability to articulate complex issues concisely
  • Highly skilled at problem solving, with a logical and tenacious approach
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills as considerable flexibility is required for the role
  • SalesForce, Prophix and Financial Force experience would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP as applicable to Fund Administration Companies
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail
