A global reinsurance business is currently looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team. This London based, hybrid role will see you responsible for all annual statutory accounts at group level, for 2 of their entities.

Key responsibilities include:

• 2 direct report - assistant accountants undergoing their qualifications
• Management of the Accounts Payable function
• Preparation of the annual statutory financial statements
• Annual tax returns
• Submission of quarterly reports to the parent company
• Preparing the annual OPEX budget

For this role you should be:

• A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with at least 2 years PQE
• Strong experience of in preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP
• A strong audit / financial accounting background
• Reinsurance experience is preferred, wider insurance experience is essential
• Ability to work well in fast paced environments and meet deadlines
