Oliver James Associates is working with a well-known insurance solutions provider based in the West Midlands. They are seeking an ambitious part-qualified student to join one of their technical teams.

In this role, student actuaries would design, develop and maintain actuarial models - projects currently include IFRS 17 and various acquisition onboarding. This role has a focus on continuous improvement, there is a consultative element needed to understand and gather business requirements for the systems team.

Candidate Requirements

- Student actuary with at least 5 exam passes

- Good programming/coding skills

- Good communication skills

- Knowledge of SQL and VBA coding preferable
