Oliver James are currently partnered with a leading consultancy, data science and software engineering company for financial institutions. This company develop world leading solutions that allow their clients to make the most valuable business decisions.
They're searching for a full-time Senior Security Engineer with extensive project experience in all elements of digital transformation projects and solution integration. As a Senior Engineer, you will assist their clients in the design, development, or evaluation of security solutions that meet their needs.
Responsibilities:
- For our customers, we analyse, design, and implement IT security solutions.
- IT solution security evaluation.
- Participation in digitisation projects with a focus on security.
- Define project-specific security requirements for online security, containerisation, cloud, and data protection.
- Analysis and resolution of technical issues.
- Prototype design and implementation.
- Assistance with sales activities including effort estimation and presentation.
What you offer:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (Uni, FH, HF)
- In-depth knowledge of the technological stack and security concepts (ISO-OSI Network Model, PKI, TLS, Firewalling, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of IAM and WAF platforms (certification preferred), as well as Application Integration concepts such as SSO, SAML, and 2FA.
- Working knowledge of vulnerability assessment systems.
- Experience with cloud and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- In the short and medium term, willingness to travel and work with customers in Switzerland and internationally
- Possessing a can-do mentality.
- Analytical personality with an independent, communicative, and responsible personality.
- Excellent command of the English and German languages
