Risk Project Manager- Insurance - 12 month Fixed Term Contract- Fully remote
Oliver James have partnered with a top 10 Insurance company in London who are going through an exciting period of modernisation and transformation and they are looking to recruit a Project Manager to work in their Risk function.
The role provides support to the Head of Operational Excellence, Risk & Governance team and the wider risk function in relation to risk change and transformation for 2022.
You will be aligned to the second line risk team managing a portfolio of risk change programmes by delivering a step change in the management of operational risk.
The purpose of the role is to assist in the shaping of Risk projects and you will have the ability to translate risk to the wider business.
An example of projects will include: GRC Tooling review and enhancements; Rewrite of IT and Privacy Control Frameworks;
The responsibilities for a Risk - Project Manager will be:
- Shape and schedule a portfolio of risk projects
- Ensure Stakeholder requirements are incorporated into delivery plans
- Project Planning, Risk & Issues Management, Budget Management, Contract Management for Third Parties, Resourcing and Reporting
- Manage across a range of resources in the delivery of key requirements including Third Parties
- Working with Senior Stakeholders.
- Reporting on agreed action plans
The ideal Risk- Project Manager wil possess:
- Strong project management and planning experience
- Good level expertise in respect of risk processes, frameworks and procedures
- Experience of working with risk, control data and reporting
