This leading, global insurance business is looking to hire an Operational Risk Assistant Manager / Manager into this newly created role, due to continued expansion and the importance that they place on their governance function. Reporting to the Head of Risk, you will be responsible for conducting risk review and assessment of systems and controls across the business. You will also be working closely with senior stakeholders to communicate business risks and business impact associated with operational risk, including supporting the business to implement risk treatment plans. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing risk policies and frameworks; keeping up to date on developments in risks to the business pertaining and communicating such risks to the business.
You should have at least 2 years of experience in a governance role within insurance (risk, audit or compliance) or you will have at least 2 years of experience in an operational risk role within financial services. You should also have a strong risk mindset and superb stakeholder management skills.
