Title: Risk & Controls Manager

Location: North West (remote-working available)

Daily Rate: £350 - £450 per day

Contract: Initial 3-months, can be temp to perm

A nationally recognised, high growth client within the financial services sector is seeking an experienced Risk & Control Manager to join the business on an initial 3 month contract. Supporting the Head of Risk, you will be responsible for ensuring there is a robust first line control framework in place in line with the risk appetite.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide assurance to any policies and governance processes being implemented
• Assess risks and ensure best practice is in place
• Provide assurance on all financial promotions and customer communications
• Provide advice and guidance to all risk owners
• Assist in product development and provide guidance where needed

The successful candidate must have:

• Experience working in first line risk within financial services
• Strong knowledge of FCA, ASA and ICO regulations
• Experienced in the product development life cycle
