Job Description

Members of the risk management team are tasked to deliver end-to-end risk management solutions across the business. This particular role is tasked with calculating, monitoring and reporting of any risk/regulatory related management information. Data from various internal departments will need to be collated and evaluated on an intra-day basis.

Main responsibilities will involve:

  • Collate data from the relevant departments and perform the calculations of various risk governance reports daily
  • Create and circulate the daily CRD IV monitoring reports to Senior Management
  • Review intra-day transactions that have been performed on both the client and operational ledgers
  • Collate relevant data to perform daily reconciliations and ensure these are held on file
  • Identify potential breaches and take steps with the relevant departments to ensure that these are rectified intra-day
  • Act as the data champion of any risk related issues, including:
    • Research of client financial position
    • Preparation of materials required to carry out financial analysis
    • Calculating the Mark to Market value of an open position
    • The client's margin positions (both Initial Margin and Variation Margin)

Ideal Candidates will have:

  • Advanced Excel skills and previous experience working with Bloomberg terminals
  • Research and/or analytical background which can be applied to a broad range of subjects
  • Strong CRD IV and wider regulatory knowledge (ICAAP experience is desirable)
  • Have basic understanding of PFE, simulations, etc.
  • Logical and systematic working routine
  • Analytical mindset with a logical approach to problem solving
  • Strong educational background within a mathematical or analytical discipline and be working toward a financially related qualification
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
