Oliver James are currently working with a leading Consultancy Firm in Ireland looking to hire an experienced Risk Manager to join their rapidly growing Financial Services Advisory team.
As a Manager you will take responsibility for managing engagements directly with clients. The role will involve providing both advisory and assurance services to leading organisations in the Financial Services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting clients in implementing change to meet their regulatory and compliance objectives
- Assessing client's compliance with relevant legislation, regulation and guidance in order to provide assurance that they are meeting their requirements
- Managing assignments, from planning through final reporting, to achieve client's goals and meeting deadlines
- Reviewing systems and processes with respect to leading practice and to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Supporting business development initiatives, including proposal development and managing stakeholder expectations
Ideal candidate
- Relevant Risk/Compliance experience across Banking, Insurance or Asset Management or prior consulting experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Excellent presentation and reporting skills
- Experience in managing and mentoring junior staff
