I am currently partnered with a large Lloyds business on their search for a Reinsurance Technician during a period of growth and transformation
The role will be responsible for
- Assist the Treaty and FAC contract set-up in relevant systems including calculation and processing of reinsurance premiums and settlement in line with contract terms
- Participate in the reinsurance close process ensuring deadlines are met and interdependencies are managed
- Monitoring aged debt and chasing unsettled balances
- Assist in completion of the RI inputs to the QMA, QSR and ASR submission
- Operate, maintain and improve current systems
Profile Requirements
- Understanding of the full end to end ceded reinsurance process from placement through to credit control and reporting
- Understanding of Lloyd's reporting
- Knowledge of PRA, FCA and other regulatory standards
- Detailed market knowledge essential
