Job Title: Reinsurance Manager

Location: London based 2-3 days per week plus remote working

Rate/Salary: £400-700 per day either Inside or Outside IR35 (FTC also available depending on preference)

Duration: 3-6 months

The role:

To manage the day-to-day activities of the Group Reinsurance Department including involvement with all aspects of outward treaty placements and continuing ongoing support to various stakeholders and assist in the production of regulatory, management and Group reporting. Provide support and direction as follows:

• Assist with execution of the reinsurance purchasing strategy and reinsurance placements for the Group and the Group Reinsurance Captive
• Assist with analysis of reinsurance placement data in preparation for the renewal. Assist with preparation of reinsurance renewal information
• Ensure reporting procedures in place including timescales for delivery and management of resources to deliver required output
• Perform reviews of reinsurance placements
• Maintain schematics for regulatory reporting

The candidate:

• Self-motivated and capable of developing a quality work product without close day-to-day oversight and recognition as a team player
• 3+ years experience within a similar role
• Provide supportive environment for your direct reports
