A market leading Insurance and Reinsurance broker is looking for an actuary with strong communication skills to move into a non traditional business development/broker position covering the entire APAC region.
Reporting into the Director of Life and Health, you will be involved in growth strategy, new business development and client management.

Reporting into the Director of Life and Health, this global market leader of insurance and reinsurance broking is looking to bring an experienced actuary into their regional APAC life team.

This non traditional role will cover 15 markets withing APAC, managing existing client relationships, providing clients with advice regarding their reinsurance strategy, articulating the risks and economics of a transaction to cedants and reinsurers and support the regional business development.

This is a great opportunity for an actuary who wants to improve their client facing and business development skills within a fast paced and dynamic environment. It will also give you a well rounded and in depth knowledge of life and health insurance across the region.

An ideal candidate will have strong communication skills with the ability to interact with clients, prospects and internal stakeholders. A strong knowledge of reinsurance treaties is beneficial alongside a thorough insurance/reinsurance market knowledge. Experience in broking, consulting or business development would be advantageous but not necessary.
