My client, a leading global insurer are moving their Hong Kong Regional office to Malaysia as a Regional CoE and will cover their 'Big 4' markets - Hong Kong, Australia, Japan and Korea. This will give you regional exposure and the rare opportunity to progress quickly within an internationally leading company.
They have already identified an internal candidate who is relocating to Malaysia to head up the CoE and they are now starting to interview for Assistant Manager to Senior Manager level vacancies.
The first two teams being built are EV and USGAAP, and over time they will build up their Pricing and Modelling teams. This means you will have the opportunity, in the future, to rotate internally to different areas or even different Regional locations.
Both EV and USGAAP teams will support and consult the LBU's on their production and analysis and will collaborate with those LBU's on related business concerns.
For Manager and Senior Manager openings, knowledge in either EV (also EEV/MCEV) or USGAAP is required with 5 - 10 years of actuarial experience. Management experience is beneficial but can be picked up as the teams grow.
For Assistant Manager positions, 3 - 5 years of experience is required, ideally in reporting.
