One of the global top 10 insurance companies with business in over twenty markets is looking for an actuary to join in this non traditional business oversight and strategy position in their Hong Kong regional office.
Your scope will cover their business in Hong Kong, China, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia and India.
As they continue to grow and develop their presence in Asia, they require a technically strong actuary who has a sharp business sense to directly assist the team in the management and direction of business operations and strategy in the Asia Pacific region.
You will help the business to develop a deeper understanding of their regional operations through financial analysis of their current performance and by providing in-depth and insightful analysis, financial projections, business plan development and new market entry feasibility to the Leadership Team to support their future decision making.
The ideal candidate will be a fully to partly qualified actuary with 3+ years of experience within Asia life insurance. To be successful in this role you must have the ability to communicate technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.
