A leading protection reinsurer is seeking a newly or nearly qualified life actuary to join their corporate team in London.

This team are responsible for producing, analysing and communicating quarterly Solvency II, IFRS, US/UK GAAP and Economic Capital results. This presents an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified actuary to enhance their regulatory knowledge within a genuinely impressive business.

Retention in this business is something to be noted, actuaries enjoy long standing careers here - being granted opportunities to relocate internationally, or making horizontal moves into different practice areas.

Strong applicants will have the following experience:

• Good protection product knowledge, able to understand how protection products are reinsured and how this ties into reporting
• Experience of working across various regulatory reporting bases
• Strong technical backgrounds
• Minimum 3 exams off qualifying, no maximum years of post-qualified experience
