We are seeking an experienced and motivated Insurance Project Manager to lead critical initiatives. As an integral part of the team, you will have the opportunity to drive strategic projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and make a lasting impact on businesses.

My clients are within the Financial Services industry, I am actively working with banks and insurance companies on their hiring needs. This role will be with an insurance client located in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery of insurance-related projects.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverable, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues and obstacles to ensure project success.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment of expectations.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvements and promote best practices in project management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout project execution.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, processes, and regulatory landscape.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects, on time and within budget.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive for continuous improvement.
