Job Summary:

To own the accurate and timely processing of all Payroll & Remuneration data into the general ledger.

To partner the business for payroll data and process issues.

To support the alignment of finance processes to Talent management remuneration process recommending the most efficient and cost effective end solution.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the delivery of all Payroll & Remuneration accounting across the team, acting as a business partner to ensure all local entity & group level accounting is aligned and accurate.

Responsible for ensuring that all Finance and Talent Management Payroll & Remuneration processes are aligned to maximise efficiency

Tasks:

  • Act as business partner for payroll data & process issues.
  • Define & document end to end process for payroll / payroll attributes - focusing on data, internal responsibilities / stakeholders & defining data contracts with providers (With knowledge of the potential differences between 'gross to net' & 'book-keeping' data forms)
  • Fixing known legacy issues within payroll and remuneration
  • Managing Finance requirements - i.e. posting directly into ledger from centralised payroll team / creating 'click & post' solution for junior finance resource to post. This will be aligned with the Group Reporting timetable.
  • Own Balance Sheet attestation - complete all reconciliations on payroll accounts (balances are linked and will be understood when authorising payrolls).
