Operations Manager

A Global top-tier Specialty Insurer, known for their growth strategy across multiple markets and transformation is looking for a Business Operations Manager. This is an growth headcount and an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee of the operating platform across various aspects of their business in Singapore, and enjoy continued career progression with the organisation.

The ideal candidate will require experienced leadership to coach and steer a team of underwriting assistants/ ops associates, being actively involved in change and transformation projects, working alongside with various business units across their APAC office to continuously work on operations enhancements to ensure excellence and a continuous improvement of the overall service area.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to lead a team and build relationships
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, ability to influence and negotiate effectively
  • Strategic and Analytical skills
  • At least 5 years of Operational knowledge in General Insurance (Non-life) industry
  • Demonstrated experience in operations or transformation execution (project and organisational change experience is a plus)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • High level of customer service
  • Sound business, financial and market acumen awareness/understanding
  • Demonstrated ability to drive for results and focus on outcomes
  • Excellent working knowledge of PC based systems and applications such as Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
