Non-Life Model Validation - CAT model - Internal Model

Our client, a leading insurance group, requires a Contractor to support a model validation project. The chosen contractor will analyse, challenge and validate Nat Cat models in RMS.

You will support the project for 3 months on a Day-Rate contract basis.

Strong technical CAT modelling experience is required alongside knowledge of Natural Catastrophe risks

Our client, a prestigious insurance group, requires an independent contractor to support a business critical model validation project.

The chosen contractor will analyse, challenge and validate Nat Cat models.

Location: London/Paris split (flexibility to travel as required)

Start: Dec 2019 or Jan 2020

Duration: 3 months

Rate: Daily Rate (negotiable dependant on experience)

Required skills:

  • Strong technical modelling experience ideally in RMS (Risk Management Solutions, Risklink) for capital allocation, economic capital modelling, CAT pricing etc
  • Good knowledge of Natural Catastrophe models - earthquake, windstorm, hurricane, wind
  • Ability to analyse and challenge existing models as part of the validation process
  • Ideally knowledge of other modelling languages such as R, Excel or Python
