I am currently working with a General Insurance business who are looking to source an interim Motor Insurance Underwriter. This role will look to start asap on a fixed-term basis;

role requirements;

• Maintain an appropriate underwriting "footprint" via filters, underwriting rules systems and controls
• Understand and monitor detailed key metric targets and implement recommendation plans
• Ensure all activity complies with internal governance, audit trails, company strategy and wider market regulation
• Keep up to date of changes in the market and share updates, ensuring a clear view of next steps and full compliance
• Proactively seek an understanding of existing and future technology and the changes to legislation likely to be introduced and how this will impact the business

Experience needed;

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to analysis and clearly present information
• Excellent organisational skills and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Self-motivated and proactive with a passion to progress with CII qualifications
