Employment type: Full-time - Permanent - 3 days remote

Salary: 140,000-170,000CHF+ depending on experience

Task & Responsibilities:

  • Joint responsibility for the Linux environment, this includes, among other things, ensuring the operation, maintenance and care of the Linux infrastructure as well as its monitoring (including monthly standby)
  • Further development of the Linux environment with the team due to new requirements (cloud and container technologies (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes) and standardize the deployment and patch management processes
  • Planning and implementation of changes and implementation of customer orders as well as the creation of documentation of the system environment and the writing and revision of operational documentation
  • Willingness to familiarise oneself with existing and new technology, including definition of a roadmap, coordinated with the various committees
  • Experience in the field of authentication mechanisms such as Active Directory, LDAP, SSSD and Kerberos is desirable

Beneficial Knowledge, Skills and Education:

  • Completed IT studies or comparable training with several years of professional experience in the IT environment
  • Several years of experience in the administration and operation of Linux RedHat systems version 7-8
  • Very good knowledge of Perl and Bash Scripting, Puppet Deployment Infrastructure, DB2 installations and ideally knowledge of SAN storage
  • Ability to understand, systematize, document and explain complex system dependencies in a target group-oriented manner
  • Very good knowledge of German and, due to the international orientation, good knowledge of English
