The UK pension risk transfer market has been growing at pace in recent years. Experts estimate that from 2020 the market will average £30bn-£40bn of risk transferred to bulk annuity and longevity swap providers per annum.

Oliver James are working in partnership with bulk annuity providers, reinsurers and consultancies who are seeking high quality junior pension consultants.

At present we have numerous Pension Risk Transfer pricing roles, and reinsurance analyst roles available for candidates with 2 to 5 years experience.

Candidates will ideally have the following:

- DB pension knowledge eg transfer values, liability calculation experience

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced teams

- Ideally still an actuarial student, some clients will consider newly qualified actuaries with relevant experience
