Oliver James is delighted to represent a leading Asset Management firm in a high-growth mode is seeking to appoint a Mid-level Legal Counsel to an established Legal team.

Reporting into the General Counsel, the successful candidate will work both independently and with the current team on new legislation or change in regulatory requirements. Liaising with regulators for fund approvals and fund documentation, drafting contracts, and provide legal advice to all areas of the business including external counsel when necessary.

This is a newly created position and will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, ensuring culture is at the forefront of the organization's ethos! The position also affords itself the opportunity to get involved with project work that may not be found in a functionalized organization.

The successful candidate will be qualified to practice law in Ireland and ideally have 3-5 years post qualification experience gained in either a private practice or in-house. A strong understanding of UCITS, AIFMD AND MiFID is also a pre-requisite.
