As a Lead Solution Architect, you will be taking ownership and joint responsibility for the complete infrastructure & cloud environment (AWS & Azure) at the company. Additionally, you will drive the future of this environment by taking strategic architectural decisions whilst providing guidance to the involved IT and business leadership teams. The principal area of concentration will be networking, communication architecture and engineering whilst ensuring the fulfilment of architecture principles.
You will be part of a global team of IT Professionals (architects, engineers, designers and business counterparts) working on the end to end architecture life-cycle. This involves collaborative design of the global network and communication environment by applying architecture patterns an principles. You will push strategy to become a connected company even further. This requires finding the balance between innovation, technical feasibility, sustainability, agile delivery and cost effective end to end implementation. You will guide other architects, subject experts, and external partners around the above topics.

Requirements:
- Higher education, ideally ideally in Computer Science or a similar area. BSc minimum requirement, MSc or PhD preferred
- Strong anaytical and conceptional skills
- Ideally 2 - 5 years of experience as a Senior IT Architect
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with engineers, other architects as well as senior managers
- Proven track record in at least one of the following areas; AWS/Azure Infrastructure, large scale global enterprise networks and/or IaaC
- Good understanding of integration technologies and patterns (ideally with cloud native applications, microservices)
- Experience with common architecture patterns
- Curiosity, creativity, willingness to embrace new ideas, technologies and methodologies
- Fluency in English, second language is preferred.
