A leading lower Connecticut based insurance provider is looking for a Financial Auditor to join their growing team. The main purpose of this role is to support the broader team in auditing financial statements for the business and their subsidiaries, which audits include GAAP financial statement audits, statutory requirements, and internal control processes.
This is a highly dynamic Financial Audit role and will give the successful candidate exposure to not only their large US business, but also international exposure in some of their fastest growing areas.
This person should be analytically competent, well organized, and have excellent communications skills (both written and oral). The Auditor would've dealt with internal controls over financial reporting standards such as GAAP and Statutory.
The required Education, Qualifications, and Experience for the Financial Auditor role:
- 0-3 years auditing experience (public/internal, insurance preferred)
- CIA/CPA preferred OR passed several sections and awaiting experience requirements
- Knowledge of accounting standards and principles is a plus
