Job Title: Junior Credit Risk Analyst

Duration: 3+ months

Rates/Salary: £300-400 per day inside IR35

Location: London based (2-3 days in office plus home working)

The Role:

The Credit Risk Team is a dynamic with the ability to make key decisions that protect the business from financial and reputational risks. The work undertaken is diverse and will provide the successful candidate with opportunities to learn new skills and engage with internal and external stakeholders in areas such as Fraud Prevention, Compliance and Sales Quality.

- Investigate the viability of Protection advisers by reviewing financial data, insurance industry conduct and regulatory behaviours

- Proactive monitoring of new and existing agencies

- Working closely with all areas of the business to mitigate all levels of credit risk to the business and protecting our customers from Financial Crime

The Candidate:

- Must have experience working in either the Life Insurance or Financial Services industry

- Knowledge of current credit risk and credit control practices

- Knowledge of the intermediary market and Agency activities

- Strong communication and presentation skills to be able to inform and persuade both verbally and in writing

- Good at probing facts and challenging assumptions
