Junior Business Analyst - Wakefield (Agile, Technology, Change)

We are looking for either a recent graduate or an individual who has gained recent work experience within change management and would like to progress their career into a Business Analyst role. We need someone who is confident and enthusiastic about working with people as you will be interacting with various stakeholders across the business.

A Junior Agile Business Analyst works with our internal and external customers to define improvements to business and technology processes, assists decision-makers in gathering information, and supports our test and development teams to delight our customers with change.

About you:

As a Junior Agile Business Analyst we are looking for people with the right behaviours and personalities. You will be supported in your core competencies of the role to develop you in to a champion of best practise agile delivery. You may be recently out of university with a degree and some customer facing work experience, experienced in the workplace but wanting to take on a new challenge from your current role or just starting in your journey as a BA.

We are looking for candidates with an analytical mind who will be proactive, inquisitive and personable. You must be able to adjust to new priorities quickly and have strong organisation skills and the ability to self-prioritise. It's crucial to have an eye for detail and be someone who continually strives for improvement. You should have the confidence to deal with the here and now while still keeping an eye on what the business will do be doing a year or two in the future.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with customers
  • An excellent understanding of all Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge of web technologies and web development
  • Degree level educated in a relevant discipline
