Java Developer / 6 month contract / Glasgow & Remote / £750 Inside IR35

Oliver James' leading Banking client are looking for a Java Developer with FS experience to join the new development team as it continues to build out of the Glasgow office. The role will focus around system integration work using Java 11+.

Key Skills:

• Develop software solutions by studying the requirements, system and data flows, processes and investigate the problem areas by following the software development lifecycle
• Document the developed solutions by providing documentation, diagrams, flow charts, code comment and clear code
• Ensure compliance with the system architecture of all Java systems and applications
• Analysis of operational risks in the Linux based software infrastructure (resource bottlenecks, vulnerabilities, errors) and the development of appropriate countermeasures
• Provide support to software engineers to deliver the software solutions that fulfill the functional requirements and as well the non-functional requirements
• Work independently on the tasks allocated
