Internal Consultant - Process effectiveness - Solvency 2

As an Internal Consultant, you will own responsibility for delivery and coordination across the region, to ensure lean, controlled and efficient finance processes are developed and enacted with a key focus on ensuring current reporting timescales are met or surpassed in the future state. This role will also have responsibility for defining the organizational model required to support the future state processes as well as supporting its implementation.

You should:

  • 8-12 years in external or internal consulting role within Insurance industry;
  • Extensive experience in process re-alignment, LEAN transformation within Finance stream for Insurance or FS industry;
  • Be able to communicate with senior stakeholders within the business including Finance Functional Heads as well as various Department Heads across organization and countries.
  • Interact Daily with stakeholders' team members to deliver Project solution to support their business needs. Also, manage Group Technology & Operations (GTO) resources to deliver development and/or infrastructure to project schedule.
  • The position would require substantial interaction as well as management of external consultants, developers, off-shore Technical Teams.

You will be responsible for:

  • Project KPIs also measured on the quality of deliverables including but not limited to design (blueprint), process definition go-live readiness and production cutover. Deliverables are to be signed-off by the sponsor and/or delegated business process owners.
  • Process definition documentation and process flows, Business Process Manuals.
  • Controls definition and documentation.
  • Organisational Structure and Design, BAU Resource Model Definition (Headcount)
  • The rollout of controlled future state processes meeting or exceeding regulatory requirement constraints.
  • Support, facilitation and coordination with the local office and shared service centres to manage operational change.
  • Training to support new processes.
