Our client, an Insurance business is seeking to recruit an Interim Senior Category Manager to support and the procurement function in London for an initial 6 months.
You will lead the Global Procurement of Professional Services, with a particular focus on HR and L&D, having responsibility for the ongoing development.
- Maximising value through the end-to-end commercial management of key suppliers and associated 3rd party spend
- Identification and delivery of savings
- Managing suppliers within the category to achieve contracted levels of performance and benefit deliver
- Deep category knowledge within Professional Services
- Demonstrable experience of driving internal change and managing/ influencing challenging stakeholders
- CIPS qualified
- Developing and negotiating complex agreements
- Financial Services background
