Job Description

Our client are looking for an Interim S&OP and Planning manager to join their Supply Chain function in London for an initial 4 month contract. The S&OP Planning Manager will cover the end to end planning including designing and implementing S&OP, controlling inventory and ownership of supplier relationships.

Role Responsibilities:

Demand Planning

  • Implementing an S&OP process and taking ownership of this process for the future
  • Ongoing management of demand forecasting

Supply Chain Management

  • Inventory management across three warehouses
  • Supplier management in Europe, India and the Far East
  • Supplier management - quarterly forecast meetings with top 5 suppliers, and biannual meetings with others
  • Management of weekly sales, stock and intake process and development of this to be fit for the future


  • Reporting on product performance; sales vs. forecast, inventory holding.
  • Review of product grading for availability
  • Working with retail stores to support visual merchandising and product launches

People Management

  • Management and leadership of a team of three
  • Setting up the team structure for success

Technical Experience

  • Strong experience in end to end planning across demand management and supply planning
  • Extensive experience in S&OP
  • Experienced in supplier relationship management on a multi-geography basis
  • Experience in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry
