Job Description

Insurance Process Analyst (London Market)

Role purpose:

  • Lead multiple business processes change activities
  • Manage end-to-end business processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Investigate and deliver solution for business process improvement

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead multiple projects by completing and updating process documentation, managing project scope, ensuring delivery of project tasks and milestones, and managing project relationships
  • Create and maintain multiple project schedules through project plans and estimates, scope management, ensuring delivery of project tasks and milestones, tracking through all phases of the project lifecycle, following escalation paths, providing timely issue reporting and resolving conflicts
  • Provide leadership by collaborating, articulating ideas and views to others, initiating projects, managing resources, driving the resolution of issues and being accountable for results
  • Identify, create and facilitate process changes by conducting analysis of process and design at a detailed level, to focusing on efficiency, consistency and quality improvement to ensure data and process outcomes are reliable and valid
  • Monitor the quality and effectiveness of all business processes and ensure they are aligned across the business and develop process improvements or undertake re-engineering with internal and external customers to ensure processes meet the long-term business strategies

Personal Specificiation

  • A comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end London and European market practices (both bureau and non-bureau) - must have
  • Established expertise in managing business and operational analysis activities, as stand-alone activities and as part of multi-disciplined projects
  • Experience of working with Lloyd's and London Market bodies to understand the impact of changes on end-to-end business processes - nice to have
  • Experience working with underwriters and other key stakeholders in the underwriting process - must have
