Fantastic opportunity for an insurance lawyer to assume a hugely diversified and fulfilling role. Newly created position with a split of 75% legal work to 25% compliance, governance and regulatory work, and the chance to assume responsibilities as Company Secretary. Genuine Board level contact and superbly broad diet of legal work!

My client is a unique business in the London (re)insurance market that have a newly created position for a lawyer with approximately 4 years PQE. They are not wedded to this and can entertain candidates with more / less experience.

The role will be part of a busy and extremely dynamic legal team that directly support senior stakeholders on a variety of high impact, business critical projects. You will have an excellent understanding of insurance and a wide range of contracts and agreements in this sphere. You will be tasked with a range of general commercial duties for approximately three quarters of your time.

The final portion of your time will be allocated to supporting Board meetings. You will assume responsibility for up to three of the company's five legal entities and be tasked with producing Board packs, attending meetings, taking minutes, etc.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a legal professional to attend Board meetings and get exposure to senior management, and strategic insights not ordinarily accessible in many in-house roles at this career level.

The organisation is very fast-paced and the work is demanding and intellectually stimulating so requires someone with genuine desire and drive that wants to progress rapidly.

Please apply if you are interested in this role specifically or in having a confidential career management consultation.
