Excellent opportunity for a Senior Actuary to become an IFRS 17 lead for a global, market leading insurer.
My client, a well known Insurer in the City, is seeking to appoint a qualified Actuary to lead IFRS 17 development and implementation.
In this position, the ideal candidate will be accountable for the identification and delivery of the reporting methodologies under IFRS 17 regulations. Candidates will be setting the agenda for IFRS 17 and will be working with the systems team to ensure a smooth roll out.
There is an opportunity to engage with Senior stakeholders though out the business, to discuss the impact of IFRS 17 on the P&L and the wider impact of IFRS 17 across the business.
The first 6-12 months will be looking at the theoretical interpretation and methodology, with view to moving to implementation in the following months.
Ideal candidates will be qualified Actuaries with solid front line reporting experience either with IFRS or Solvency II. IFRS17 experience is not a prerequisite.
