Oliver James Associates are currently supporting a fast-growing and respected insurance firm which are seeking to recruit a Senior IFRS 17 Actuary during an exciting and dynamic period of transformation. This role covers the actuarial requirements from the Business to support the delivery of the IFRS17 project as part of the Finance Programme.
As a Qualified Actuary, you will have strong stakeholder management skills and will have the availability to interact with all areas of the business. Relationship building skills are paramount in order to successful in influencing key decision makers and shape long term strategic decsions. The business are seeking a qualified actuary who has either got experience or wants to move into the IFRS 17 space. Previous Reporting experience is very highly desirable.
- Develop and challenge methodology implementation, including documentation
- Review of financial impact models
- Requirements for IFRS 17 systems (RAFM, CSM, data, disclosures, etc.)
- Ad hoc analysis for senior management as required
