Client Details

Leading Financial Services business that are on a significant change journey and are looking for a high calibre person to support a transforming digital agenda and diversifying product base.

Description

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be a key partner to the Leadership team. The Head of Digital will be responsible for strategic leadership for the organisations digital transformation journey. In addition to the day-to-day management of the Digital Marketing function, you will identify and implement strategies that position the organisation for growth.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the strategy, planning, implementation and optimisation of all digital marketing activities that drive customer acquisition, retention, revenue and profit for the Group
  • You will own the Key Performance Indicators across all paid and non-paid media, with an emphasis on driving and converting demand around both planned and reactive seasonal events
  • Work with the wider marketing team in planning integrated seasonal and product-specific campaigns, understanding the margin and volume requirements needed to be successful
  • Work in tandem with the insight function, using advanced analytics and platform data to identify overall trend and demand volume for new opportunities, cross-sell and retention
  • Work collaboratively with the UX/Channel function in defining what on-site requirements are necessary to improve overall conversion
  • Ownership of all-channel digital forecasting, using top-down and bottom-up methodologies to provide in-year and multi-year forecasts that can stand up to finance and board-level scrutiny

Profile

  • You have demonstrated experience in digital marketing, with leadership experience running digital teams both internally and externally that include paid, earned and owned disciplines
  • You are highly numerically literate, with a passion for interpreting patterns in business data that drives decision-making
  • You have a deep knowledge of all different digital marketing channels and the inter-dependencies between them in driving performance
  • Possess a natural flair for forecasting business requirements and performance, working collaboratively with other departments to support this process
  • Proven success in developing and running traffic management strategies, defining the roles of SEO and PPC (among others) to deliver transformational gains in performance
